Recent ActivityLCHS Swim Team is a organized team that competes under the guidance of the Tennessee Interscolastic Swim Coaches Association (TISCA) which serves the State of Tennessee by promoting high school swimming. TISCA allows swim teams of area high schools to compete on a local as well as state level. TISCA sponsors the State Championship Meet each February. TISCA is divided into 5 regions LCHS swim team is part of the Knoxville region. Team Announcements NEW HEAD COACHLenoir City High School Swim Team Head Coach for the 2010-2011 season will be Kendall McMahan she is a senior at University Tennessee. Her major at UT is Exercise Science. She will graduate in May 2011. Her experience is 4 years of summer league swimming as an assistant coach. She was a former swimmer at Farragut High School and qualified for the state meet. The students can look forward to meeting Kendall at signups.
ASSISTANT COACHThe Lenoir City High School assistant coach for the 2010-2011 season is Ashley Phillips. Ashley is a Guidance teacher at Highland Park Elementary School In Lenoir City. Ashley is a former club swimmer/diver and has diving experience in high school in Chattanooga. She also has coaching experience in cheer and gymnastics.
Team Sign UpThe LCHS swim team will hold sign up Sept 11th Saturday at the Lenoir City pool at 11am till 1 pm. Registration must be accompanied by payment for team fee. Swim and Tri will be avalible to size swimmers for suit and goggles and any equipment needs. You may also visit the team portal from this web site.
Please be sure to bring swim suit to sign up because there will be a short tryout to confim swimming ability. A student must be able to swim freestyle or backstroke 2 laps of pool. Beth Gump Team Schedule
